Ruth Carroll

Ruth qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2009. After working as a small animal vet in Northamptonshire for 9 years, during which time she studied for and gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine, she decided to move back to her hometown of Cheltenham and joined the team at Dragon in July 2019.

Ruth enjoys both medicine and soft tissue surgery and is currently working towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology. Ruth has recently adopted Sven the scruffy terrier from Cheltenham Animal Shelter and enjoys exploring the Cotswolds with him. She also uses her time off to do yoga, get to the cinema as much as possible and plays the flute and piano.
