Matthew D Morgan

Matthew graduated from the University of Melbourne along with Oliver, his colleague here at Dragon. Having come to the UK in 2001 to travel and locum across the country, marriage, children and mortgages soon tied him to the UK more permanently! Now well and truly Anglicised, Matthew lives in Cheltenham with his wife Amy (also a vet) and their children.

Matthew has worked in Emergency and Critical Care since 2006, and has a wealth of experience providing out-of-hours and emergency care to pets of all shapes and sizes. The excitement of working in this A&E environment is what keeps him working all the long night shifts! Matthew is currently studying towards his Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, and he also has an interest in Anaesthesia, and provides training in this field to other vets and nurses.

Matthew heads up the Chelvets Emergency Clinic, the out-of-hours service provided by Dragon Vets, and along with Sara and Claire, works predominately night shifts and weekends.
